MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Reese Fessler, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, having earned her degrees from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC. At the school, she had the privilege to study with Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist priest of the Jade Purity lineage. She received training in Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine and the Five Channel Systems (Primary, Luo, Eight Extraordinary, Sinew and Divergent). Her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Charlotte and her 10 years in Western healthcare further enhances her approach as a practitioner.
Reese’s passion and skill for Japanese style needling brings a sensitivity and a nourishing touch to her patients. She integrates herbal medicine, moxibustion, essential oil therapy, Chinese nutrition, lifestyle therapy and body therapies such as cupping, gua sha, and tui na into a holistic in-depth treatment.
Reese has a passion for connecting with people, which infuses her practice with deep listening and compassion. She offers a soft place to land and extends an invitation to her clients to bring their authenticity and humanness.
